I, like many AI users, switched my preferred AI platform from ChatGPT to Claude. I was a bit late to the game, only because I know my style. I can't just dabble 😄

And if you want to stop reading right now because you are tired of hearing "AI this" and "AI that." I hear you. I am one who enjoys the company of trees, but my work is at the intersection of company culture, systems, and intentional living. Understanding this tech is important to me for supporting my clients, so I've had to start applying it in my own business to see what's possible.

In 4 weeks, I spent 30 hours working in Claude Code. And honestly? My first response was not excitement but rather a low-grade fear. As a 9-year-old kid, I read Isaac Asimov novels enough to know I don't want a world where robots take over. So, as AI started moving fast enough that ignoring it would have consequences, I made an intentional choice. I've leaned in so I can understand it, stay in control, and decide deliberately how it enters my work.

I've spent a lot of time inside this technology now, and I'm paying attention to the grounded voices in the space who aren't falling for the hype. I've been building things, breaking things, and occasionally having my mind genuinely blown by what's possible when you stop using AI as a chatbot and start using it as infrastructure.

I have a lot to say, and this is the start of a lil series where I am going to take you through my experiments and notes from this journey. And spoiler, the robots don't take over.
